Mermet’s Acoustis 50 fabric was specified for these 36 large (12 sqm) inclined rooflight blinds as with its glass fibre core the fabric would lie flat and the 6.0m drop could be achieved without the fear of fabric stretching, removing the need for reinforcement.
The close weave of the fabric (1% openness) in the slate grey colour providing excellent glare free lighting (Tv 5%, 95% of light excluded). The especially formulated, acoustically absorbent pattern to the fabrics weave reducing sound reverberation and echo within the roof void, providing good speech intelligibility to the occupants below.
