Beach effect achieved with Sudstech’s permeable paving ..

permeable paving

Sudstech permeable paving was used to create an artificial beach at the request of Lenzie Moss primary school. Sudstech’s Scottish installers, Oakburn Gardens and Trees, blended several colours of stone to create a realistic beach effect for the children to enjoy. Sudstech’s  patented two part poured system with a unique recycled tyre, resin and stone sub base and resin bound wearing course, allows water to drain through the surface, just like a real beach with no additional drainage required. Considerable savings can be achieved by using the surface which is virtually maintenance free and is permeable to in excess of 50,000 litres, per m2, per hour. in many cases surface water run off charges can be avoided. Sudstech is extremely hard wearing and is also suitable for use in car parks and other public realm areas.
