Encon Construction Products, a specialist distribution division of The Encon Group, expands its range of market leading brands with the addition of global geosynthetic supplier TenCate, and its Miragrid GX and GX T geogrids, available from Encon’s nationwide branches. The biaxial geogrids are composed of high modulus polyester fibres, knitted in a flat orientation. Miragrid GX is mostly used in the construction of roads and railways, for slope reinforcement in landfill and for retaining structures. The range includes tensile strengths of 30/30, 40/40, 55/55 and 80/80 and is available in 100m lengths. Miragrid GX T is suitable for short and long term soil reinforcement applications. Tensile strengths include 20/20, 30/30 and 40/40 in 50m lengths and 20/20 in 100m length.
