Junckers has added EPDs, Environmental Product Declarations to its solid hardwood two-strip parquet flooring. Junckers has completed EPDs for its popular Twin Herringbone, a pre-finished herringbone patterned floor made in solid oak or beech, and Single Stave Blocks, a solid oak parquet floor which can be laid in a number of patterns.
Committed to providing a sustainable flooring product with traceability and transparency, Junckers’ flooring has several independently verified environmental credentials including FSC®, PEFC™, Indoor Climate Label and ISO 14001. An EPD evaluates the environmental impact of a company’s manufacturing and material sourcing and now includes declarations for dismantling, transportation, and disposal as well as the potential for recycling.
