Glass Balustrades

Neaco’s semi-structural glass balustrade and decking systems are adding a splash of minimalist style to The Slate, the University of Warwick’s impressive conference centre occupying a waterside setting in the heart of the campus near Coventry.

Designed by Associated Architects and built by Speller Metcalfe, the facility comprises 650 sqm of flexible event space. Neaco’s Elan aluminium powder coated balustrade lines the full-length of a front terrace overlooking the lake and has been designed to maximise the view with clear glass infill panels. The terrace also features Neaco’s Neatdek aluminium grille system which is ideal for decking due to its efficient drainage, exceptional fire resistance, anti-slip surface and maintenance-free durability with a lifespan of between 60 and 100 years.
