In Barnby Dun, Doncaster, the new Memoria Crematorium exemplifies exceptional service and support for grieving families. To address the pressing need for expanded bereavement services, Marshalls collaborated with MPave to create a serene garden of remembrance. The project features a round pool surrounded by meticulously landscaped gardens.
A significant highlight is the use of Marshalls’ innovative Lunar® paving. This modular paving, inspired by granite, enhances the crematorium’s tranquillity with its unique concrete aesthetic and patented colour technology. The Rosa palette introduces a calming pink tone, enriching the peaceful atmosphere.
Sustainability was a core consideration, and the UK’s first electric cremator and locally produced materials like Lunar®, Keyblok®, and Tegula® paving reduced the carbon footprint.
